2012 marks the 13th year of the Kenny Thomas coaching tenure at the University of South Carolina Aiken. Thomas has recorded 430 wins in twelve seasons at USCA. Under his direction, the 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 USCA Pacer baseball teams have been ranked in the top twenty-five of the NCAA Division II poll. Thomas came to USCA after twelve highly successful seasons at Volunteer State Junior College in Gallatin, TN. Recording 520 wins at Vol State, Thomas now has 950 wins as a college baseball coach.
Thomas was a Collegiate All-American catcher in 1978 and previously worked for the Cincinatti Reds, New York Yankees, and St. Louis Cardinals.
Thomas' highly successful baseball camps and clinics have made him one of the most highly recognized instructors of baseball fundamentals in the southeast. He also performs coaching clinics for summer league and high school coaches.

David Brinkley played 2 years of college baseball for Kenny Thomas at Volunteer State in Gallatin, Tennessee. He then finished his college career at Tennessee Tech University and spent 5 years as an assistant coach at USC-Aiken under Coach Thomas.
