2010 markes the eleventh year of the Kenny Thomas coaching tenure at the University of South Carolina Aiken. Thomas has recorded 369 wins in ten seasons at USCA. Under his direction, the 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010 USCA Pacer baseball teams have been ranked in the top twenty-five of the NCAA Division II poll. Thomas came to USCA after twelve highly successful seasons at Volunteer State Junior College in Gallatin, TN. Recording 520 wins at Vol State, Thomas' teams were ranked in the top ten of the National Junior College Athletic Association for six straight years.
Thomas was an All-American catcher in the 1978 and previously worked for the Cincinatti Reds, New York Yankees, and St. Louis Cardinals.
Thomas' highly successful baseball camps and clinics have made him one of the most highly recognized instructors of baseball fundamentals in the southeast. He also performs coaching clinics for summer league and high school coaches.
